DD Body Comparison (Slightly NSFW)

Long time no post, Hello again. It’s been a while after my last post. I’m in to Twitter for too long and found writing long blog post longer than 140 characters is quite….. hard xD.

I just got Sakuya as my latest DD. She comes with DD Body III, the third generation of Volks Dollfie Dream Body.

This post is the quick comparison between three similar DD body types; DD Body II, DD Body III, and DD Sister. I will call them DD3, DD2, and DDS in short. I won’t include MDD because the different is so obvious.

DD Body Comparison

Left to Right: DDS -> DD2 -> DD3

DD Arms (No DDS here)

Top – DD2 left arm
Bottom – DD3 left arm

Shoulder Joint

Top – DD2 hand joint
Bottom – DD3 hand joint

DD Hands (No DDS here)

Left – DD2 hand joint
Right – DD3 hand joint

DD3 joint is far easier to remove from the forearm.

In summary:

– DD3 is the larger version of DDS, about the same size as DD2 (little taller)
– DD3 pose better than DDS (see the arm pic)
– DD3 seems to be less prone to damage than DDS (Reimu or Marisa version)(Akira version already fixed some minor issues)
– DDS arms are not compatible with DD2, large gap on the shoulder is visible. 
– All DD hands are compatible with all DD2/DD3/DDS bodies
– Far more easy to remove Leg/Hand from DDS/DD3 than DD2
